Margaret and her husband Alan have been touring the UK and we were desperate to meet up again so we arranged for them to stay for their last two nights in the UK. As we are basically packed up here ready to move home, we arranged for them to sleep at our new home - we hope to move in just after I return from Vienna!
To complicate matters, I had arranged to do the flowers for a wedding which is today, and had to be at the Wholesale Flowers Market in Manchester at 6.00 am Wednesday to purchase the flowers, then condition them for a day, then a day arranging them all! Margaret was aware of this, so yesterday we spent all morning working together at the church! Alan and George went off to meet a mutual friend in Nantwich - another instance of this being a very small world.
We've had a lovely two days with Margaret and Alan - they understood perfectly the situation and were happy 'camping out' in our bungalow on their own ;-)
