" We had been asked by our Federation office to raise money for Water Aid. The suggestion was to hold an event where we would serve wine and raise money for water.
"Our speakers for the evening were from Thorntons Chocolates a well know company in the UK. They gave us the background to the company, where the ingredients came from etc. Two quizes were held with prizes. During the talk samples were passed around.
"We served wine and juice, ran a raffle which raised £114. A competition was held after a demonsration of how to gift wrap a box of chocs. Every one was also given a 'Goodie - Bag' to take home."
