"During my visit, I have met with the New York and Manhattan Club members and was impressed with the work they are doing. First I met with the President Lois Beilin and UN Reps Caroline Themm, Kathy Mayer and Patricia Lemming, my dear friends, members of New York Club for lunch. Then with IGU and members of Manhattan Club. "

"It has been a very rewarding meeting for me. First Caroline Themm, Kathy Mayer and I met and took a tour, then had lunch together with UN Rep Anne Yedowitz, in the UN as I wanted to reminisce my time there for the UN Special Session, Women 2000,Beijing+5. (My report was printed in the TIS, then).

"Then I met with Leonia Sagasta, IGU Manhattan Club, Barbara Costican and Anne Taylor for dinner. I enjoyed our meeting very much. Barbara and Anne are both young members and contributing to the club so much and Leonia a perfect lady and IGU. I felt very priviledged meeting them and exchanging views and projects. All in all I enjoyed it tremendously and was impressed with the work they are doing. "
