Thelma Richards, President of SI Cape of Good Hope sent an item about the Cape Town Club's activity in the International Project:

Thelma writes: "Women Walking for "Women Survivors of War" - This was for our International project: Project Independence. It takes women working together to make a difference.
Our Club raised the sum of approximately R2 500 which will be sent to SIGBI.
Jack Segall (a Soroptimister) showed us the route to walk."
