SI LION'S HEAD AIDS PROJECT   

From the SIGBI FEDERATION CONFERENCE, Belfast 2003:

Chatliner Joan Sherry sent a photograph of some of the members of SI Douglas who went to the SIGBI Conference in Belfast, handing over a cheque for £500 to Jill Lazard of SI Lion's Head for their Aids Orphans Project.

Joan writes: "Two of our members regularly visit South Africa and SI Lion's Head so we are especially interested in their project.    Half the money was raised at a coffee morning at the home of Janet Leece (one of the members who visit South Africa) and the balance came out of club funds.
