THE DAY'S CATCH:
The Catch of the Day (Lee's husband Rich was out with a fishing guide for several hours - As fishing is not at its best right now he was very fortunate / thrilled to catch a big one! - a salmon weighing about 30 pounds, plus several crabs in the trap set nearby.   Sharon's husband Ron kept busy around their home while us three Chatliners 'talked'.. Later we went in their small boat to Campbell River on Vancouver Island for a great dinner in a First Nations pub. - and then I drove home, about an hour south while they returned to Quadra Island.   While we crossed, we got a bit wet in the wake of a cruise ship returning from Alaska! )
