"I'm back home, after a rewarding and remarkable voyage to a place I would define as one of " The beloved corners of God's on earth"..........I'm referring to New England: New Hampshire, and especially Vermont. The beauty is breath taking, the Wonder of the " Turning Point of Nature" which is expressed by the frenzy of colors of the trees is like an arrow entering your heart, and engulfing your whole being.
One will say, it is the autumn and all the leaves will be soon gone, but I see it as a wonderful source of LIFE, and a promise for a RENAISSANCE."
"I adored the connection of the local people to their environment, the corn and their dry leaves, which are decorating nearly every house, store and restaurant. I adored as well the scare-crows that are everywhere, adding an artistic flavor of creativity scattered all over. They are so beautiful that I even took one of them with me back home..........and the pumpkins ready for Halloween, another source of color added to the celebration..........

"I just want to let everyone know that I met with Pnina and her cousin in New Hampshire for lunch and found both of them to be delightful and very interesting. We had a really good visit, wish it could have been longer but they were in the Northeastern States looking at the fall colors, which since Pnina is an artist and photographer, she was here at the right time, as the colors are so bright and colorful. This was one of those Soroptimist experiences that I would have missed out on if not for the Chatline."

"Pnina gave me a Soroptimist Flag from Israel, which I passed on to the Haverhill-Merrimack Club in Massachusetts, at their meeting that I attended. Thought that was the club that should have it since they are the only club in this area of the Northeastern Region in SIA."
