"I must share my wonderful 4th of July news with all of you....
" We just got word I have a new grandchild.. She is 7 1/2 months old her name will be Lark Quang Davis. She is in an orphanage in one of the provinces near Beijing
"Her parents will pick her up the last week in August.... She will join her four Davis brothers and sisters.
" Quang means celebration.. And we are really celebrating today."
"How wonderful to celebrate that day with giving new future, and future independece to a child, otherwise with an obscure one.
"We wish you and your family lots of joy raising that child with the rest of
their children."
