Margaret Støle Karlsen sent a photo and tells about her Club's voluntary workers:
"SI of Larvik, Norway doing voluntary work at Gurvika!
"Gurvika, which is situated near Nevlunghavn on the outskirts of Larvik, is a holiday spot for disabled people. In the summer season, they can offer a chalet holiday for disabled persons together with their family or other companions. Gurvika has 22 chalets, a larger building which suits groups and institutions, a swimming pool with heated sea water and a separate building for social activities. The place is beautifully situated on the coast and has a 70 metre sandy beach where the conditions are suitable for the disabled. Gurvika is run by an independent foundation. Extensive use of voluntary work and support from voluntary organizations are needed to keep the place going. SI of Larvik is one of these groups of voluntary helpers."
