2004 NWR DISTRICT 2 MEETING - "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL"

Kathy Verger Muscus, District 2 Director, sent some pictures of their recent District 2 meeting

Let the Good Times Roll
Kathy writes: "This picture explains this crown and all of the stuff around my neck! My club did a little 'roast'........never trust your club members!! :-) No, they had fun preparing it, and it was a fun end to the evening! "

The Musicians
Kathy Explains: "My nephew, Aaron, is in the 8th grade, and is a quite gifted musician. He and his friend Dustin entertained us with New Orleans jazz music during both Tell and Sell and the banquet on Saturday night. It was great to have him be a part of the week-end, and all enjoyed his wonderful gifts on the sax and clarinet."

Kathy & James

"This is a picture of James and Kathy........also from Saturday evening. James came over and worked very hard to help out during the meeting. He was quite the trooper! "

Kathy also sent the following 3 photos that she received from Susan Joyce. Susan and Deanna were guests at Kathy's District 2 Meeting.

Deanna Hanks

Deanna at Tell and Sell with her beautiful pins; a picture of one of her pins (shown below)........ She sold them like crazy! As a result of her hard work and she and Susan believing in 'rounding up' :-), Deanna enabled our meeting to contribute $500 to Project Independence!

Kathy and Susan Joyce
Kathy continues: "The last picture is one of Susan and I taken Saturday night after the banquet. Susan sang LOVE IN ANY LANGUAGE, and it was truly outstanding! She added so much to the week-end with her talk on Chartering at lunch on Saturday; her absolutely jammed packed workshop Saturday afternoon on recruitment and retention; and then she led us in GOD BLESS AMERICA as well as THE SOROPTIMIST SYMPHONY. What a huge difference she made! "
