Sheilah writes: "This is the first of probably quite a
few which I will send over the coming week."
"Leading the way to Cockle Bay": shows the two musicians
on stilts who led 'a train of ladies' round Darling Harbour to the venue for the
Friendship Evening.
"Tex Cornwell and Friends" has Joann
Kelly and Dolores Kelly together with Tex. As you can see our American
sisters really 'dressed to impress' for the Friendship Evening.
"Chatliners Dede Olsen and Heather
Douglas. People who were at Sydney will remember that it was Heather who
conducted exercise sessions at each break, telling us to 'Shake our Sillies
Out'. Dede is splendid in her Friendship Night ensemble."

The photo shows from left to right:
Dawn Marie Lemonds, Joan Cramer and Zainab Salbi.
Sheilah explains "This was taken after we had listened to the presentation of
the new Quadrennium Project. Zainab Salbi is the founder of Women for
Women International, who gave a most moving account of the work her organisation
had done since its founding in 1993."
Sheilah, Jenny Hughes, Diane Thompson & Evonne
Tyler. As you can see Jenny and Evonne were volunteers at Sydney, hence
the lovely scarves and hats. Diane Thompson is a member of the North
Atlantic Region, from Franklin,PA.
Doris Cusens from Malta, photographed at the Banquet, where as you can tell, she was having a great time - as were we all!
Tazuka Tanaka and Junkei Tasuda I
met on the first night when they came to admire TQ. I believe they both belong
to Chuo Region, and although not Chatliners, they may possibly be known to
members from SIA.
